Research
I'm researcher in astronomy at IMCCE (Institut de Mécanique Céleste et de Calcul des Éphémérides) in Paris Observatory and lecturer at IPSA (Institut Polytechnique des Sciences Avancées).
Research topics
- Dynamical Planetology: Orbit determination of asteroids and natural satellites, Non-gravitational forces (Yarkovsky effect, tidal forces), Characterization of TransNeptunian objects and Centaurs
- Astrometry/Observations: Catalogue of natural satellites observations, Observations of asteroids (NEA, TNOs, Centaurs)
- Statistical Methods: Orbit propagation, estimation of physical parameters
- Stellar Occultations: Determination of physical parameters of TNOs, Prediction of occultations
Group Member/Expert
- NAROO: New Astrometric Reduction of Old Observations (digitisation of photographic plates)
- Encelade Working Group: Study of giant planets and their systems of satellites
- Lucky Star (ERC project): Study of outer solar system by the method of stellar occultations.
- IAU member (Division A, Division F)
Research databases/products
I have developed ephemerides and databases for asteroids, TNOs and natural satellites:- Lucky Star: Orbits, predictions of occultations for about 320 distant objects (TNOs, Centaurs and Trojans);
- DynAstVO: Database of Near Earth asteroid orbits (available on the VESPA/OBSPM portal);
- PH20: ephemeris of Phoebe (Saturnian satellite) based on my paper and updated in 2020 (see also 2012 and 2015 versions).
